CoMo Aerial Arts offers class packages, private and semi-private lessons, and open studio time for our aerial students in Columbia, Missouri. The apparatuses that we offer include aerial fabric, aerial hoop, and aerial hammock used for conditioning and flexibility work. Class Options 

NEW CLASS SCHEDULE FOR JUNE 2016!

Introduction to Aerial: Ready to try aerial silks? Learn the foundations you need to begin an aerial practice. This class will get you started with correct shoulder positioning and body awareness, basic footlocks and poses, as well as basic climbs and supported inversions. No experience necessary. This class is offered Mondays 6:35-7:35pm at Wilson's Fitness on Rangeline; taught by Melissa Bratton. $15 drop-in for non-members, $7 for members.

Aerial Fabric Skills Level 1: (prereq: Intro to Aerial or instructor's consent) --- This class is geared towards students who have completed the foundational skills taught in Intro class. Classes are focused on proper technique, safety, and skill-building. New climbs, more advanced poses, sequencing, inversions, conditioning, and flexibility work are all components of this course. Variations of the skills are offered for each individual student, and the pace of the class will be dependent upon the progression of the attendees. This class is held Wednesdays 6:05-7:05pm at Wilson's Fitness on Rangeline; taught by Melissa Bratton. $15 drop-in for non-members, $7 for members.

Aerial Fabric Skills Level 2: (prereq: Aerial Fabric Skills Level 2 or instructor's consent) --- This class is a progression upon the previous aerial skills classes in which we will focus on becoming more dynamic in the air, endurance and sequencing, creative variations, musicality, conditioning, flexibility, and much more! These classes are held Tuesdays and Wednesdays 7:15-8:15pm at Wilson's Fitness on Rangeline; taught by Hannah Henze. $15 drop-in for non-members, $7 for members.

Aerial Conditioning and Flexibility: (no experience necessary) --- This class will utilize the aerial hammock to increase strength and mobility. Suitable for both aerial students and non-aerial students! Focus areas of conditioning will be core, upper body, and grip, while flexibility areas of focus will include hips, shoulders, and back. This class is held Wednesdays 5:15-6:00pm at Wilson's Fitness on Rangeline; taught by Hannah Henze. $15 drop-in for non-members, $7 for members.

Aerial Yoga --- Aerial yoga is a new type of yoga utilizing a fabric hammock as a tool to help students achieve traditional yoga poses and to increase difficulty in others. Increase overall health and physical agility while having fun and creating beauty. Hammock will be set at hip height. No experience necessary. Classes are offered multiple time throughout the week at both Wilson's Fitness on Forum and Rangeline; taught by multiple instructors. $15 drop-in for non-members, $7 for members.

Open Studio --- Take the opportunity to enhance your aerial skills in our self-directed open studio time. Come ready to work on skills learned in classes and workshops, condition, increase your flexibility, choreograph routines, and film yourself to find opportunities for improvement. Open Studio is for students who have received approval from an instructor. Held at Bur Oak Brewery on Saturdays, check the facebook page for more detail. $7-10 suggested donation.
